The Municipality area (319.73 km2, Sulęcin 8.5 km2) stretches irregularly in the east-west direction and is cut across by the Rzepin-Międzyrzecz railway line and a network of local and regional roads, offering convenient transportation services.
Three international roads cross the western border of the Lubuskie Province. The Berlin-Wrocław road leading through Cottbus, Forst and Żary, the Berlin-Warsaw road leading through Frankfurt on the Oder River and Poznań, and the Szczecin-Prague road leading through Zielona Góra and Jelenia Góra with a branch to Kostrzyn, have a European dimension. The A2 motorway leads through the Torzym Municipality, to the south of the Sulęcin Municipality, and the Torzym exit leads directly to Sulęcin. Apart from these international roads, 19 roads of a lower rank cross the entire western border.
